Alexis Kereakoglow is the second-generation co-owner of The Acorn Gallery School of Art. Starting her art education at The Acorn Gallery at the age of seven, Kereakoglow also attended both Pre-Portfolio and Portfolio classes. She earned her BFA in painting from Lyme Academy College of Fine Art and apprenticed under master printer James Reed at Milestone Graphics in Bridgeport, CT. In September of 2010, Kereakoglow exhibited her first solo show at the Marblehead Art Association. She has also exhibited her work at the Chauncey Stillman Gallery and Sill House Gallery in Old Lyme, CT. Kereakoglow is a recipient of the Best in Show award from the Saugus Rotary Art Show, the Scholastic Gold Key for Portfolio, and a four year recipient of the Wilhelmina Denning Jackson award. Alexis Kereakoglow teaches the after school classes for children ages 5-11, Pre-Portfolio classes, Adult Classes, and the Acorn Summer programs.
