Jack Highberger

Jack HighbergerJack Highberger received his BFA in painting from Boston University, attended graduate seminars with Philip Guston and studied at the Art Students League in New York. A nationally renowned artist, he has received awards such as the JD Ayers Art Diversified Award and The SIS Springfield Art League Award, as well as a prize for outstanding works in drawing from the Marblehead Arts Festival. Considered one of the best figure teachers in the greater Boston area, Highberger has exhibited his work at the Springfield Art League, Boston University, and locally in Marblehead. Highberger is the co-founder of the Acorn Art School and has been teaching Portfolio, Pre-Portfolio and Adult Classes since the school was opened in 1995.
